Reason to Celebrate

    Have you ever got in the mindset, a holiday is just another day? The only one that you put effort into remembering is Christmas? I am guilty. I wasn't necessarily looking forward to Easter with any real enthusiasm... until I heard this on the radio, "Without Easter, Christmas would mean nothing. If the tomb wasn't empty, the cradle wouldn't matter. Easter gives Christmas meaning." (K-Love 88.7)

    The fact that the loving Savior and Redeemer, Jesus the Christ died for me to allow my family and I to rise again as well and live for eternity in peace and love and joy is a reason to remember. A reason to celebrate not only Easter and Christmas but every day! He lived and died and rose again for us. Jesus Christ lived His life to show us the way to heaven. His death, the Atonement, made following that path possible. Christ's resurrection gave it all a reason, a purpose. Remember with a passion and reverence why each day is so worth while, so worth living. Let the coming of Spring bring hope anew to all because the Tomb was empty!
